THIS EVENT WILL BE FOLLOWING THE CANADIAN WESTERN REGIONAL CHALLENGE BEING HELD ON SATUDAY AUGUST 23.  As such, entry to ride site is limited during the Regional Challenge event.  ERA riders have the option of entering ride site the afternoon of Friday August 23rd (and cheering on our Alberta riders on Saturday!) or after 5pm if arriving on Saturday August 24th.  Entry into ride site on Saturday will be closed to truck/trailer traffic due to trail  obstruction.  Vetting in of horses will be on an “as available” basis to the vets.  Regional Challenge riders take full precedence to vet access throughout Saturday during their event.

Saturday Evening Awards Dinner:  We will be hosting an Awards Dinner on Saturday evening prior to the EC Regional Challenge Awards presentation.  Tickets for dinner MUST be pre-purchased by ride entry close (an option to purchase is included in the ride entry form).  The dinner menu is: Smoked Beef, 3 salads, baked beans, and homemade pie for dessert.  Tickets are: $20/adult, $15/Youth aged 9-14, kids 8 and under are free.  ERA members are welcome to attend and join the celebration.

Trail: Some of the best trails around! A mix of one and two track trails that Mark freshly mows a majority of prior to the ride. Footing is mainly pasture, hay fields, old road and bush trail with a tiny bit of gravel. There are 2 shallow river crossings. Barefoot friendly.
Ride Camp: 24′ Steel panel pens are provided for all horses where you can park your rig in front of.  Pens are large enough to house 2 horses comfortably.   Horse water is to the pens. Porta potties on site. Potable water also to the site. Fire pits are on site as well (pending fire restrictions/bans).  Manure to be cleaned from pens upon exit and placed in designated areas.   See links below for directions to ride site.
Camp fees: Weekend use fees are negotiated by ERA with the owners prior to the event based on preliminary numbers. Feel free to come early or stay longer however those days must be arranged with Mark and Tina, our amazing hosts at MSW Farms. They go above and beyond to make your stay, our event, on their beautiful ranch a pleasant experience.  Fee for each dog on site is $10/day.  ALL DOGS ARE TO BE ON LEASH AT ALL TIMES.  This is an active livestock/wild game farm, with livestock/guardian dogs at large.  Any  injuries or disruptions caused by your dog will be charged to you so please leave dogs at home if possible.
