Trail: Trail is a mix of 2 track and single track. Terrain is through forested areas, pasture areas, and through sandy jack pine areas.
Ride Camp: We will be in a pretty level pasture field located directly off the highway. There will be porta potties on site and horse water provided. Good cell reception in camp. Located 6 minutes from the Town of Bruderheim. Dogs are welcome but CANNOT be off leash and are NOT allowed in vetting or crewing areas at any time. Please ensure your dogs are placed inside your trailer when you are not at ride site. Ride site is an active cattle ranch and residence, any dogs off leash or with excessive barking will result in immediate removal from ride site. This is a no frills ride – no breakfast/lunch provided to riders or crew. We will be hosting a potluck supper Saturday evening prior to the awards ceremony. Should you wish to join us please bring a dish for the table. RIDE CAMP OPENS FRIDAY, MAY 22nd AT 2PM.
Directions to Ride Camp: From Fort Saskatchewan (Hwy 21/Hwy 15 intersection) – take Highway 15 East (25 kms) to Range Road 202. Turn North onto RR 202 and follow for 3.5 kms. At the T-intersection turn right onto Highway 45. Continue North for 5.5 kms, ride site will be on the left (watch for the big power lines). Watch for ERA ride site signs along the highway.
