Trail: Trails are a mix of cattle pasture, gravel road, ditch, and two track. There are some steep climbs. Hoof protection is highly recommended!
Ride Camp: Ride camp is in a pasture. Manure can be spread. Camp is a bit of a walk from vetting area. Be prepared to set up a crew area if you want to save steps back to your trailer. Crew area is a beautiful area with lots of trees and shade.
There will be a potluck supper on Saturday evening. No main dish is being provided. Please bring own plates and utensils.
Directions to Ride Camp:
From the East or west- 13 kms past Niton Junction if coming from the east or 32 km past Edson if coming from the west, turn north onto Hwy 32 towards Peers. Head north for 11 kms, then turn west onto Hwy 748. Go 9 kms. Turn north at RRD 152 (the turn off for Long Lake). Head north for 6 km, then turn right onto TWP 555A- at the bottom of a big downhill and curve. Take your first left and up the big hill. Follow signs to camp from there.
From the north- Head south on Hwy 32 from Whitecourt, for 56 kms to Hwy 748. Turn west and follow directions above.
