There will be a potluck meal taking place on Saturday evening. A HUGE thank you to Amy Preugschas for donating a bunch of pulled pork from their home raised team (herd) of Pigs for all riders/vets/volunteers to enjoy together! We would appreciate side dishes or desserts for those wishing to join us.
Trail: Trail is a mix of 2 track and single track. Terrain is through forested areas, pasture areas, and through sandy jack pine areas. There is little gravel therefore very barefoot friendly – ditches are clear and rideable to avoid the gravel.
Ride Camp: We will be in a pretty level pasture field. There will be porta potties on site and horse water provided. Good cell reception in camp. Located 6 minutes from the Town of Bruderheim. Dogs are welcome but CANNOT be off leash and are NOT allowed in vetting or crewing areas at any time. Ride site is an active cattle ranch, any dogs off leash will result in immediate removal from ride site. This is a no frills ride. RIDE CAMP OPENS FRIDAY, MAY 12th AT 2PM.
Directions to Ride Camp: From Fort Saskatchewan (Hwy 21/Hwy 15 intersection) – take Highway 15 East (25 kms) to Range Road 202. Turn North onto RR 202 and follow for 3.5 kms. At the T-intersection turn right onto Highway 45. Continue North for 5.5 kms, ride site will be on the left (watch for the big power lines). Watch for ERA ride site signs along the highway.
