Times to Note: Rider Briefings are at 8pm in the hall on both Friday and Saturday evening.  Vet-in will being around 5pm on Friday evening.  For those riding on Sunday you are able to vet in throughout the day on Saturday when there are no riders in line.   Start times for each distance/day will be noted on the ride poster once available.

Trails: The trails are a combination of anything the bush could throw at you. It’s a natural wild environment, from sandy trails , some muddy spots, dense bush, and lots of steep hills.  These trails are frequented by ATV/Dirt bikes so be prepared to handle this.  There will be some road near camp, along with lease road.  There will be some gravel road sections on both the 25 mile and 50 mile rides.  HOOF PROTECTION IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Ride Camp: Long Island Lake Light Horse Club. There is no grass on site so bring adequate hay. Fresh water for horses is supplied.  Porta potties will be on site. There is limited parking so we ask that riders be mindful of space when setting pens. Early arrival and delayed departure are acceptable however please advise Natasha (eraregistrations@hotmail.com) so she can plan accordingly.  At this time there is no location for manure disposal – be prepared to take out with you if other arrangements cannot be completed with the land owner.  All dogs are to be on leash AT ALL TIMES.  No dogs allowed in the hall or arena.  No fires allowed on site.

FROM SOUTH (WESTLOCK):  Head North through Westlock on Highway 44 for 23 kms to the Hwy 881/601 Junction (Dapp Corner Store).  Turn right onto Hwy 801.  Go north 12 kms until you see the sign for Long Island Lake (Twp Rd 633A).  Turn Right onto Township Road 633A (winds and turns into Twp Rd 634A) and proceed east 4.6 kms until you hit the fork in the road.  Take the left fork and proceed to ride camp on the Right side of the road – Long Island Lake Horse Club grounds.
