DESCRIPTION:PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT IS HOSTING CONCURRENT EC AND ERA SANCTIONED EVENTS AS SUCH THERE ARE 2 SEPARATE RIDE POSTERS AND 2 SEPARATE ENTRY FORMS DEPENDING ON WHICH SANCTION EVENT YOU ARE REGISTERING UNDER.  PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE COMPLETING THE CORRECT REGISTRATION FORM – EITHER EC or ERA.  THOSE ENTERING THE EC EVENT MUST HOLD A BRONZE SPORT LICENSE TO ENTER.\nRide: Wings of Watino Ride\nDate: June 28-30, 2025\nRegistration Opens: June 10, 2025\nRegistration Closes: June 24, 2025 @ Noon\nLocation: Eaglesham, AB\nRide Organizer: Maggie Huette\nRide Managers: Daniel Fontaine\nRide Secretary: Natasha Dombrosky\nRide Veterinarians: Dr. Claudia Metz DVM, Dr Emma Kahanyshyn DVM\nDistances: Intro, 25, 50, 100.  The 100 mile event will take place on Saturday June 28, 2025.  All 50 and 100 mile events will be sanctioned with Equestrian Canada as well as Endurance Riders of Alberta.  Please complete the appropriate registration form.  As noted above, those wishing to enter into the EC sanctioned event must have an EC bronze sport license prior to registration.\nERA Ride Poster: Click HERE to view poster   REGISTER HERE!!! \nEC Ride Poster: Click HERE to view poster   REGISTER HERE!!!\nRide Site:  Ride site is an abandoned well site which is has direct entrance off the range road.  Site is flat however bring planks for levelling your unit if needed.  There will be water for horses on site.  Porta Potties on site.  This is a no frills ride therefore no meals will be provided to riders or crew.  Ride Management is planning to host a potluck dinner on Saturday evening prior to awards ceremony for the 25/50 mile events.  For those wishing to partake, we ask that you bring a side or salad for the table.\nEntry into camp for the 100 mile riders is Thursday 4pm.  All other distances Friday 2pm.\nVetting will begin at 5pm on Friday.\nRide Briefing 8pm on Friday.\nTrail:  Trails are 100% barefoot friendly.  They are a mix of single and double tracked bush trails.  Solid sand base.\nDirections to Ride Site:\n\nFrom the East – From Valleyview turn North onto Highway 49.  Follow Highway 49 to Donnelly Corner, turn West (still Highway 49) and continue 47.5 kms to RR 252.  Turn South onto RR 252 and follow for approx 7km.  Watch for signs stating where to turn right, cross the Texas gate and follow up the knoll to ride site.\nFrom the West – From Grande Prairie travel North on Hwy 2 to Rycroft.  Turn East onto Hwy 49 and follow for 62.9km to Range Road 252.  Turn South onto RR 252 and follow for approx 7km.  Watch for signs stating where to turn right, cross the Texas gate and follow up the knoll to ride site.\n\nClick HERE for a map to Ride Site.\nEQUESTRIAN CANADA SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS:\n2025 EC Rules and Regulations\n2025 EC Ride Application\n
